Adele, the “Someone Like You” mega-star, has found herself in headlines recently, but not for reasons she’s used to. After splitting from her husband of 3 years, Simon Konecki, earlier this year, Adele has been spotted by Radar Online and Page Six with multiple suitors in various settings. But none have generated buzz like her new rumored love interest, British rapper Skepta.

Despite the love she’d found in Simon and Angelo, Adele was able to sing those same power ballads about heartache like she’d done before. But it wasn’t as easy anymore. Vogue UK recalls how Adele shared that she no longer sings from “the same place”. Motherhood and love pushed her to sing from a more “amazing place,” she shared in a televised concert special at Radio City Music Hall.
With her star still rising, rumors and pictures surfaced that suggested Simon and Adele had taken their courtship to the next level. In late 2016, The Sun reported that the “Rolling in the Deep” singer planned to secretly wed her then-fiancé in a private LA ceremony.

But perhaps the most surprising tidbit of information was uncovered by Radar Online. The gossip rag combed through the starlet’s divorce docs and discovered she and Simon had wed in May 2018. And she filed for divorce in September 2019, Fox News reports. So, yes, y’all. Their marriage only lasted a little over a year.
Skepta’s history with Naomi Campbell
Rumors swirled that Skepta and supermodel Naomi Campbell were an item in 2018. The two seemed to confirm this with a British GQ photo cover in March 2018. But things got really interesting when in July of 2018, Skepta posted a cryptic sonogram picture (with a date of July 30 in the snapshot).
This lead many people to think Naomi was expecting. Instead of confirming or denying anything, Campbell unfollowed him on Instagram and posted a bomb bikini picture letting the world know, she wasn’t the woman in question. Rumors have suggested that this child was the reason for their split.

But, perhaps, what’s been most interesting, is that Adele hasn’t sat still or alone during any of this. While she’s been spotted with a couple of guys, the only one that seems to matter now rapper Skepta (birth name Joseph Junior Adenuga Jr.)

The Mirror UK referenced their similar upbringings — as they’re both from Tottenham, north London — as a means of their contentedness. Their shared background, combined with a few texts, and twitter moments, have brought them in this here moment.
Skepta shared in a 2016 interview with ES Magazine that the two would text regularly. Adele even talked the rapper off the ledge. Frustrated, he was ready to walk away from music, but the “lady of Tottenham”, as he calls her, helped him back away from the cliff, so to speak, The Sun reports.

Now to the question, we’re all wanting answers to… are Adele and Skepta an item? As of now, The Daily Mail has reached out for comment from Adele’s representatives, but no word yet.
