Oh lawd, here we go!
Real Housewives of Atlanta newcomer Porsha Stewart made her debut on the show this week and came across as a spoiled woman with no knowledge of the recession and a husband that loves to lavish her with gifts. Porsha and her husband Kordell Stewart have been married for almost two years now but prior to them meeting, rumors about Kordell getting down with men were swirling around town!
NFL player Plaxico Burress sat down with a Pittsburgh radio station in 2009 and the topic of Kordell came up. Here’s what Plaxico had to say:
“It had to be tough on him personally. I didn’t call him gay or anything like that…I think that’s one of the reasons why he really couldn’t become the player that he wanted to be…It has to play on you mentally a little bit.”
And to make matters even worse, Plaxico even threw Kordell under the bus in a book he wrote:
“People were talking about (Kordell) being gay. The players heard that, but we never talked about it. I don’t know if Kordell is gay or not. It was none of our business. If ever we would have talked about it, it would have made everybody uncomfortable. If some player was gay, I dont think he could come out while he was still playing. It would be real hard. It would mess a team up mentally and it wouldn’t be good for that person.”

In October of 2012, Porsha gave an interview to S2S magazine and the interviewer asked her about her husband’s sexuality lol. People are brave as hell these days! Anywaytho, Porsha replied with, “In life, you’ll have haters whether you’re on the camera or whether you’re off the camera. If you and your husband have an understanding, you are blessed…” An understanding though, Porsha? I guess that pretty much confirms she’s in it for the money and Kordell is most likely doing what he do when he do it!
It seems like the people with the most secrets are always signing up for reality shows. Kordell and Porsha should have known that people would be bringing up this topic since it has been a popular topic in NFL circles since 1997. Let’s hope none of Kordell’s male jumpoffs makes an appearance on an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta!
