Excuse me for being late with this recap but I have been so busy with life and blogging about other shows that I forgot to recap “Keyshia & Daniel: Family First” episode two. So, here it goes!
Keyshia Cole and Daniel “Boobie” Gibson exchange vows at their wedding ceremony in Hawaii and the setup was absolutely beautiful. Boobie looked delicious in an all white suit and Keyshia’s dress was very pretty and princess-like but lawdddd….I never thought Keyshia looked like her mother Frankie until I watched this episode. During the entire wedding ceremony, Keyshia had the most stank look on her face complete with turnt up lips to the sky. I’m going to give her a pass though, I think she was trying to hold back tears so she wouldn’t mess up her makeup.
More after the jump
The ceremony ends and it’s off to the reception. Everyone is having a ball, especially Frankie. She is cuttin up in the banquet hall! Getting her dance on with the little kiddies and just having a funky good time!
The next morning, Boobie takes a walk on the beach with his cousin and I prayed for BET to have subtitles during this scene. Boobie’s Texas accent got thick as hayle while talking to his cousin and he mumbled something about he and KeyKey being unable to go on their honeymoon any time soon due to their hectic schedules.
Keyshia hits up the recording studio wearing a green tube top with a train in the back and an awful fanny pack turnt to the side. She was looking an absolute mess but luckily, she wasn’t there to walk down the runway, she was focused on redeeming herself after that trash bag “Calling All Hearts” album she put out. Boobie joins Keyshia in the studio so they can spend some quality time together but he has to head back to Cleveland for a game against the Indiana Pacers.
Boobie is pumped up for his game against the Pacers and he really wants to show his team, the Cavaliers, what he is made of. Unfortunately, while taking a jump shot, Boobie lands awkwardly on his right foot and he gets carted off the court. It’s not looking good for Boobs and he might have to get surgery on his foot which will put him on the bench for his team’s upcoming games.
I’m really liking this show so far. Keyshia is her normal moody self but Boobie is very likeable so I’m going to keep watching (and hopefully keep blogging about the show in a timely manner).
