Hell hath no fury like a production company scorned!
Basketball Wives L.A. has just gone through a major shake up, and it’s all due to one of the Wives becoming an actual wife. Ain’t that some bull?!
According to TMZ, when Gloria Govan ran off to Vegas to marry her baby daddy, NBA player Matt Barnes, she failed to inform the producers, and they felt disrespected. Many of the wives are holding back on their storylines and aren’t allowing the show to film their actual realities. Gloria’s secret wedding was the straw that broke the camel’s back, and the producers are busy getting four pink slips ready.
Allegedly, Gloria Govan, her sister Laura “Forever a Fiancee” Govan, Malaysia “Library Voice” Pargo, and Brooke Bailey have all been fired, and they will not be returning next season. So that leaves us with Draya and Jackie Christie. Dang, this nut Jackie stay winning!
This news comes after Laura Govan gave an interview to S2S magazine saying that the show’s ” groupies ” should be replaced. I knew Laura would be wiping egg off her face after that comment! That one backfired on her like a mutha! You know I’ve been twitstalkin’ all morning, and Brooke Bailey is the only cast member that has commented:
What do you think about more than half of the cast of Basketball Wives L.A. being fired?
So they only kept 1 wife of a retired player and a groupie whore? Wow this show is going down hill.
Everyone is just trying to get in where they fit in & get paid doing it booooooom!!
This season (3) just started with Malaysia, Jackie & Seats (who seems more mature & in love, good for her). Also some new wives, girlfriends and exes (baby mothers) creating drama. What a disgrace, always a mess! Those women need God in their lives. Or some serious spiritual commitment! We all have baggage but they're living as celebrities whose personal lives are really not so personal. The world's always watching, so why not continue to make it what it is, public, with no shame. If the entire world lived as celebrities, no one would be any different. No one's perfect & shouldn't be judged; But it's clear when messiness, malicious acts & deceit amongst women claiming to be friends, show that they need to be closer to or get acquainted with God. It doesn't look good. Sometimes it's not worth watching them tear up each other. It's reality, not fictional and God's watching!
