Marlon Wayans is not playing when it comes to “cancel culture” and says he will not tone down his jokes for anyone.

Buzzfeed recently asked the comedian if a movie like his 2004 film White Chicks could happen today, and Marlon responded that the movie is needed even more now because society is too uptight.

He also let it be known that he’s not scared of cancel culture and will continue to tell his jokes despite the consequences. Marlon said if a joke gets him canceled then he’ll thank the person for doing him a favor. As a veteran comedian, he said he understands his audience and what they’ve come to expect from him and his family. He explained, “One thing about the Wayans: we’ve always told the worst joke the best way.”

What do you think about Marlon Wayans’ take on cancel culture and his refusal to change his style?
