T.I. and Tiny Harris have been accused of drugging a woman they met in a nightclub and taking her to their hotel for a threesome. The plaintiff, referred to as Jane Doe, claims to have been in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in Los Angeles around 2005 when she attended a party at the late rapper Coolio’s home and met a man named “Caviar,” who allegedly worked for T.I. and Tiny.
The allegations against T.I. and Tiny
According to the lawsuit obtained by TMZ, the plaintiff and her friend were told that T.I. and Tiny would be at an L.A. nightclub the next night. When they met in the VIP section the next night, Tiny allegedly handed the woman a drink, and she claims to have shared it with her friend.
T.I. then reportedly asked the woman to ride with them to their hotel while her friend rode with “Caviar.”
Upon reaching the hotel room, the plaintiff alleges that two other unknown women joined them but were later kicked out by Tiny for flirting too much with T.I. In the subsequent events described in the lawsuit, Tiny allegedly took the woman into the bathroom, undressed both of them and then T.I. joined them in the shower.
The woman claims that after feeling lightheaded and dizzy, T.I. told her to go to bed. She alleges that while Tiny and T.I. engaged in intimate acts, T.I. committed an intimate act without her consent. The plaintiff states that she later passed out and was awakened the next morning by a security guard who escorted her out despite her experiencing pain.
The woman is now suing T.I. and Tiny for battery, assault, negligence, and false imprisonment. She cites California’s Sexual Abuse and Cover-Up Accountability Act, which allows a one-year window for the revival of claims where the statute of limitations would have otherwise expired.
T.I. and Tiny deny the allegations
A lawyer representing T.I. and Tiny responded to the allegations, stating that not only are the claims baseless, but they also missed the deadline to file the lawsuit. This legal response suggests that the defendants are challenging the credibility of the accusations and relying on the expiration of the statute of limitations as a defense.
As the legal proceedings unfold, the public will await further developments in this case, which has surfaced amidst ongoing discussions about sexual misconduct and abuse in the entertainment industry.
This isn’t the first allegation against T.I. and Tiny
In 2021, their former friend, Sabrina Peterson, accused T.I. of putting a weapon to her head during an altercation with his assistant. Sabrina also posted screenshots of DMs from women who accused the couple of taking advantage of them and forcing them to take substances. Tiny and T.I. both denied the allegations.
In February 2021, a lawyer sought to pursue criminal charges on behalf of up to 11 people who claimed to have been victimized by the couple or members of their entourage. Due to the accusations, VH1 suspended the filming of Family Hustle before canceling the show entirely.
Tiny’s former friend, Shekinah, took to her Instagram to defend Tiny and T.I. and even accused Sabrina of having intimate relations with the couple and recruiting women for them. Sabrina eventually hit Tiny, T.I., and Shekinah with defamation charges following their online exchange.
Shekinah and Tiny’s friendship crumbled soon thereafter when Shekinah accused Tiny of not standing up for her against online haters. Shekinah backtracked on her previous comments about Sabrina and said Tiny coerced her to make those statements.
In the end, the LA district attorney’s office declined to pursue criminal charges because the alleged incidents exceeded the statute of limitations.
